Implants
Dental implants are currently the most desireable replacement for a missing tooth. They are made up of three parts – a titanium screw or post that is inserted into your jaw bone, a crown that acts as a replacement tooth, and an abutment that holds them both together. Dental implants are surgically placed in your bone, underneath the gum, and there is a healing period that must be allowed between the surgical placement of your implant and the fabrication of a crown which can be attached to it.

Implants are permanent, and once they are restored you will be able to eat, drink and talk without any additional impact on your day to day life.

Bridges
A bridge between teeth is also a desirable replacement for missing teeth. A bridge consists of at least two crowns which are connected by an additional false tooth. Bridges are more cost effective, and require less healing time than implant placement. Much like implants, bridges provide an excellent replacement chewing surface. With today's technology and techniques, the only people who will notice the difference between a bridge and an implant for your missing tooth are your dentist and your dental hygienist.

Dentures- Dentures are essentially the predecessor to dental implants. Dentures can either be complete dentures, which replace all of the teeth in your mouth, or partial dentures which replace only some of the teeth in your mouth. Partial dentures are supported by the healthy teeth and bone which remain in your mouth, and are the more desireable style of denture. Dentures tend to be the most cost effective replacement for missing teeth.
